Position involves leading a team to develop collaborative plan-based dialogue technology.


Qualifications:

For Senior Position: PhD + 5 years experience in artificial intelligence. Expert-level familiarity with planning, plan recognition, dialogue technologies, machine learning; Significant publications record;

For Research Scientist position: PhD in artificial intelligence, including experience with NLP, planning, plan recognition, dialogue technologies, machine learning.

Experienced in building state-of-the-art dialogue managers


Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist

Semantic Parsing

Position involves developing, testing, deploying semantic parsers.

Qualifications:

For Research Scientist position: PhD in AI with specialization in natural language processing/computational linguistics

For Senior position, PhD + 5 years experience in AI with specialization in natural language processing/computational linguistics; Significant publications record

Experience:

Neural networks, machine learning, language models, including BERT or other Transformer architectures

Knowledge of meaning representations/logical forms/knowledge graphs


Research Scientist/Research Assistant

Dialogue/NLP user studies

Qualifications:

Research Scientist: PhD in AI/NLP, or HCI. Experienced in conducting user studies, employing crowd-sourcing platforms, Wizard-of-Oz methodology.

Research Assistant: MS + 3 years experience NLP, or HCI. Experience: Ability to develop scripts and code in Python or Java.

Duties:

Manages and directs product engineering. Provides the experiential knowledge, leadership, and vision necessary to ensure multiple projects have proper engineering controls.
